Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Peds Adult Job Details : - Provide professional nursing care for pediatric through geriatric patients in the Special Care Unit - Function independently within 18 months of employment - Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document physical condition each shift - Monitor patients for changes and notify physicians of significant findings - Conduct initial patient interviews and create individualized care plans - Maintain safe environment for patients and staff - Initiate and document patient education plans and teaching interventions - Lead interdisciplinary team and participate in utilization review - Administer medications and perform treatments per hospital standards - Evaluate patient progress and ensure safe discharge planning - Attend 90% of Acute Care Nursing Staff meetings - Participate in performance improvement activities and continuing education - Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient goals - Maintain greater than or equal to 95% medication barcode scanning compliance - Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred - Montana nursing license required - Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required - ACLS and NRP certifications required within 12 months - PALS certification preferred Facility : This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a focus on quality patient care across multiple specialties.
