Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safe, cost effective, and lean manufacturing processes to help service our customers.

Related job functions include writing specifications, working with vendors on capital improvement projects, designing tooling / fixturing, analyzing data, participating in Lean initiatives, designing / implementing cell layouts, and maintaining BOM's / Routes. An individual in this role must be able to work well with operators and the toolroom, as well as other departments such as maintenance, planning, and quality.

A Day In The Life

• Key contributor for capital projects. Responsibilities include machine selection, cell layout, and financial justification. Will be working with operations, quality and product engineering to create and update control plans and engineering requirements for installation of equipment and production startup.
