Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for initial preparation and ongoing maintenance of the Company’s external reporting documents including the following : Required SEC filings, including XBRL-compliant Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.
Earnings press release and supplemental informationInvestor presentations for CEO and CFO useAd-hoc analyses when required
- Work closely with the Accounting Department and Finance Department to coordinate the delivery of key historical and projected information contained in public reports
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to coordinate and prepare graphs, charts and other images used in the documents
- Perform diligent and detailed reviews of the documents for clerical accuracy, grammar, formatting and consistency of the information across documents
- Prepare and maintain tie-out and audit trail support for information contained in public reports
- Serve as the key point person for the assembly and distribution of external reporting documents to internal and external recipients
- Assist with improving the process of financial consolidation and reporting, including the implementation of new systems & software related to this process
- Responsible for various finance reporting and accounting special projects
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2+ years of accounting and reporting experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with WebFilings / Wdesk / Workiva is preferred
- Real estate background is a plus
- CPA is a plus
- Must have a general understanding of financial statements and related notes
- Ability to efficiently coordinate the flow of data from multiple sources and aggregate into a combined financial reporting platform, while maintaining an understanding of the data point of entry and subsequent flow to multiple locations in multiple reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Experience with Oracle Essbase is a plus
- Understanding of how financial statements are presented for XBRL purposes is a plus
- The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to : the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices
