Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Teacher in our toddler classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with children through play, music, stories, art, and other creative activities. Our goal is to create a fun, nurturing environment where children can build skills, develop positive behaviors, and form strong relationships.

Duties
- Provide care and supervision for a group of toddlers in a classroom setting
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers
- Supervise and support assistant teachers as needed
Requirements
Two (2) years of experience as a child care teacher / caregiver ORAA / BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field ORChild Development Associate (CDA) credentialAdditional requirements (must have or be willing to obtain) :
30-hour STARS Child Care Basics TrainingCurrent certification in Basic First Aid and Infant / Child CPRMAT (Medication Administration Training)HIV / Bloodborne Pathogens TrainingFood Handler’s PermitTB test clearanceSuccessful completion of a full background check.Other skills :
Ability to work effectively with families of diverse backgrounds, including single parents, grandparents as caregivers, co-parenting families, LGBTQ+ families, non-English speakers, teen parents, and families navigating sensitive circumstances.Basic computer proficiency, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Docs, Zoom, and other online platforms.Benefits
