As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer where you will help to deter security-related incidents and create peace of mind for our client's utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols primarily by vehicle, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 30 AMSun 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management and / or the client regarding incidents or concerns on site.
  • Follow all post orders and guidelines specific to the utility location.
  • Assist visitors or employees with questions or directions as needed while on patrol.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
