Job Description Overview :

• Animal restraint and comfort handling animals in all aspects of the hospital
• Proficient in venipuncture, giving injections, and place IV catheters
• Ability to run in house diagnostics including labs, radiographs, BPs, etc.
• Ability to multitask and educate clients with exceptional communication skills
• Assist with patient care and treatment
• Monitor hospitalized patients during anesthesia and in recovery after surgery
• Maintain inventory and stocking
• Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments / equipment
• Clean / Disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas of hospital
• Administering medications under Veterinarian supervision
• Help in answering phones when needed
