Where you’ll work and who you’ll report to
- Primary location : Grafton, WI (approximately 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, WI).
- Reports to : Sales Director.
Role purpose
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers—driving growth, satisfaction, and engineered solution adoption across rotating equipment and related applications.
What you will do
Develop multi-level relationships with management, procurement, and engineering within key accounts.Create and execute account plans that prioritize revenue growth and profitability.Ensure order fulfillment excellence, coordinate technical responses, manage delivery schedules, and resolve commercial issues by partnering with Customer Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain.Proactively uncover and qualify new business within existing accounts and assess prospects aligned to strategy; manage opportunities from discovery through negotiation and after-sale support.Continuously assess market forces, competitor actions, customer strategies, and industry trends; translate insights into tactics and pricing strategy.Unite Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to create customer-centric solutions and nurture an outside-in culture.Co-develop conceptual solutions with Engineering and lead proposal presentations to stakeholder groups.Apply pricing models and negotiate contracts that maximize mutual value.Keep account plans, forecasts, and performance metrics current; communicate progress to leadership.Support marketing initiatives to elevate Miba’s brand presence in target markets.Live Miba’s vision and values in every engagement; other duties as assigned.What you bring
Bachelor’s degree.5+ years of technical sales experience; background in turbomachinery, rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines), or fluid film bearings is advantageous.History of building enduring customer relationships.Technically adept, confident self-starter; excellent interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability; outstanding written and oral communication.Expertise in consultative selling for complex solutions.Ability to inspire collaboration across cross-functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI-enabled productivity tools.Travel up to 25%.Compensation and benefits
