About Baker Group :
Established in 1963, Baker Group is Iowa's premier full-service specialty contractor. Baker Group offers a wide range of services including designing, installing and servicing commercial / industrial / institutional mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, building automation, security access control, CCTV, parking management, and fire alarm systems.
This role would consist of 3-6 months of training at our Ankeny, IA location. Upon completion of training, you would relocate to Louisville Metropolitan area.*
Role :
- Work alongside an Automation Project Manager providing help with coordination and preparation of tasks and analyzing and compilation of data.
- Develop and deploy cutting-edge automation solutions for construction tasks.
- Stay update on emerging technologies to inform automation strategies.
Requirements :
- Entry-level role, typically supervised by a Project Manager.
- 2-4 year degree in Automation, Electrical Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Experience in automation engineering, preferably in construction or building automation.
- Experience working with PLCs,
