Position Summary :
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and / or banquet services, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, and supporting the food and beverage team. This role assists in scheduling, training, inventory management, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and high-quality service. Train, coach, and support team members in service standards and company procedures. Assist with scheduling and labor management to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to complaints or service issues promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards. Oversee cash handling and point-of-sale operations to ensure accuracy and accountability. Support the implementation of promotions, events, and seasonal menus in coordination with culinary and marketing teams. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and managing costs. Participate in daily briefings and relay information to the team effectively. Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Sound knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, industry trends, and best practices. Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
