Inventory Coordinator

Partners Personnel is now hiring for an Inventory Coordinator in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in an office and warehouse setting.

Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the inventory department
• Ensure accurate tracking and recording of inventory across three warehouses
• Develop and implement inventory procedures and best practices to minimize discrepancies
• Lead physical inventory counts and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts with the help of the operations supervisor
• Train and monitor inventory users to improve performance and ensure accurate reporting
• Perform training sessions for those misusing inventory procedures
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory levels, adjustments, and turnover for upper management review
• Collaborate with sales to forecast demand based on physical inventory, ensuring product availability aligns with needs and reporting any issues
• Manage the removal of overaged inventory in a cost-effective manner
• Other job duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 to 2 years of systematic inventory knowledge and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
• Organized and able to multitask
• Strong work ethic
• Independent worker who completes necessary tasks in a timely and proficient manner
