start to finish, ranging in value from $25K to $2.5M. / liliEngage with stakeholders to define the scope, execution strategy, and estimate the Total Installed Cost of the project. / liliEnsure that clear and complete scopes, schedules, and budgets are prepared and accepted by the client for assigned projects. / liliWork with stakeholders to define the project economics and payback. / liliDevelop and document an execution plan for each project which is scaled to the size and complexity of that project. / liliDevelop accurate scopes, schedules, and estimates for each of your projects. / liliPrepare Appropriations Request documents for corporate capital funds. / liliAssemble a team of qualified personnel, of various disciplines, to execute the project. / liliProvide guidance to the project team to accomplish the scope of work and achieve project goals, schedule milestones and cost quality objectives. / liliWork directly with procurement and other resources to assure that contracts, equipment, supplies, and services needed to execute your projects are put in place and managed. / liliPerform engineering reviews and project engineering to support your projects and the projects of others as required. / liliWork with on-site and off-site resources to accomplish the scope of work effectively during the project. / liliPromptly recognize, document, and communicate any scope, schedule, budget, or design changes and secure client authorization prior to allowing changes. / liliCommunicate regularly to keep team members and stakeholders up to date on project status, schedule progression, costs, and other critical or contractual items. / liliEnsure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables and services provided by the project. / liliWork with Maintenance and Operations during the commissioning and start-up phase. / liliCreate new and update existing documentation for equipment and systems installed or modified as part of your projects. / liliComplete all needed Pre-startup Safety Reviews, change management processes, and project closeout for your projects. / li / ulpstrongQualifications / strong / pulliBachelor of Science degree in Engineering / liliMinimum 10 years of industry related experience working as a Project Manager / liliActual manufacturing plant experience and have supported at least one turnaround or extended outage / liliWilling and capable of working extended hours or weekends (infrequently) as needed to support plant outages and tight deadline projects / liliDemonstrated knowledge of successful project management practices such as development of scope, schedule, and estimate and subsequent project cost controls and forecasting / liliKnowledge of chemical or related manufacturing facilities and experience managing projects in these facilities / liliAble to proactively plan, organize, and drive projects from inception to start up and completion / liliAbility to work in and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision / liliStrong safety champion who will lead the project in achieving zero incidents and injuries / liliA pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done / liliSelf-motivated / Self-directed / liliAble to handle multiple activities simultaneously / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills / liliDemonstrated knowledge of gated work process
