Job Title : Acquisition Coordinator
This position assists in a line capacity in supporting, one or more programs, including appropriate supporting service organizations, when the paramount qualification requirement of the positions is management and executive knowledge and ability.
Journeyman Qualifications
All Coordinator, Product / Project - Support skills plus the following :
Requires a broad defense acquisition program management background and experience in various functions such as writing and staffing acquisition documents (e.
g., Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS), Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objective (SOO), Independent Government Estimate (IGE), Acquisition Strategy, Market Research Report).
- Knowledge of acquisition, development, fielding and life cycle support of simulations, simulators, training and instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge of current modeling and simulation principles, techniques, processes, regulations, and policies.
- Knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) and its relationship to systems acquisition / program management activities.

Work Environment : This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands :
- Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
- Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment more than 40lbs.

Travel : This position may require minimal travel.
