Job description6 months Water Truck or Truck driving experience Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Use of common sense. Able to follow instructions. Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Positive, team-based attitude The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required. The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies. Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat more than 100 degrees, cold and rain. While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds. Some shoveling may be required. Water Truck Driver
Arcosa Aggregates is a Water Truck Driver based out of our Buckeye, AZ plant location. This role will be responsible for driving a water truck on site to control dust and various other duties to create a safe work environment.
Day to Day
- Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
- Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
- Perform Labor and other duties or responsibilities as assigned
- Various work duties as needed such as shoveling rocks.
A typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needs.
