General Manager – Corporate Fitness Center at Kinema Fitness Inc , Chicago, IL

Kinema Fitness is a premium fitness center operator that provides on‑site wellness solutions to corporate facilities across the country. We are seeking a full‑time General Manager to operate a beautiful corporate fitness center in Chicago.

As the General Manager you will lead member engagement, customer service, wellness programs, personal training, group fitness, and achieve member fitness results. You will also create an outreach strategy to broaden the reach of the fitness center, manage programs such as events, workshops, meditation, and develop and implement the vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of excellent customer service tailored to member needs.
• Develop a strong group fitness program that becomes a cornerstone of the corporate fitness center.
• Introduce new fitness initiatives that engage and excite members.
• Hire, supervise, train and evaluate staff.
• Prepare participation and usage reports for the on‑site team and Kinema Fitness.
• Network with other vendors on the property to integrate the fitness center into many property areas.
• Achieve revenue and financial objectives by preparing budgets, analyzing, and reporting.
• Create and execute an outreach strategy to generate additional memberships.
• Work with the design team to create marketing collateral consistent with branding.
• Implement strategies to improve program participation and financial outcomes.
• Maintain all equipment in working order.
• Respond to member feedback promptly.
• Grow holistic wellness solutions and other wellness related services.
• Order and maintain lockerroom supplies.
