Come join the PetIQ team! As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for helping synthesize large amounts of data to accurately reconcile inventory for a growing company with 75+ locations nationwide.
A successful Analyst will excel in an ever-changing environment and will be a key contributor in determining action plans that will optimize financial results.
Essential Functions / Job Duties :
- Oversee monthly / quarterly inventory reconciliation process for 40 locations nationwide
- Manage inventory reconciliation exceptions and financial impact by working closely with operations and suppliers to come to a resolution
- Compile and present reconciliation findings through comprehensive reporting
- Identify trends and present solutions to reduce inventory variances
- Post inventory variances into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Responsible for sales order error reporting, collaboration & reconciliation
- Oversee and execute vendor product returns
- Manage inventory transfer process; logistics and systems
- Support with year-end inventory audit count
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience managing inventory reconciliation
- 1-2 years experience managing inventory transfer process
- 1-2 experience with ERP systems
- Proficient in MS Office, (Excel specifically)
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled at synthesizing large amounts of data into conclusions and recommendations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Applied Theory) Skills
- ERP system experience preferred
- Ability to master new and available technical applications
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to quickly re-prioritize while still meeting deadlines
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to transform findings into action plans and solutions
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree or 2 years experience in Inventory Management, Demand Planning or Finance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
