Marketing Assistant

Location : Indianapolis, IN
Status : Internship, Exempt
Dates : February 4, 2026 – September 30, 2026
Hours : 40+ hours per week in addition to all home games and public events
Pay : $1,750 monthly stipend
Job Summary
The Indianapolis Indians are seeking a candidate to support email strategy, website management, in‑game promotions, and various marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for leading the Rowdie Crew, assisting with script writing, managing promotions, and overseeing project management and audio tasks. The role offers hands‑on experience in sports marketing and event management, making it an excellent opportunity for those interested in professional or collegiate athletics.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Majoring in or graduated with a degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or related area of concentration. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, exceptional organizational skills and work in close conjunction with the marketing staff daily for the duration of the Minor League Baseball season (March – September). Previous experience in marketing or collegiate sports preferred. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
