Machine Safety Engineer III / Lead

Responsibilities :

• Work under the direction of the Department Supervisor orBranch Manager to perform pivotal functions in a challenging machinesafety-oriented workplace.
• Develop automation and safety projects from conceptto fruition using industry-accepted practices. Use creativity and work with theengineering team to develop concepts into plans.
• Work with the production teamand field team to develop plans into deliverables.
• Develop quality controlprograms to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Organize and manageproject documentation and provide quotes and scopes of work to customers.Perform on-site risk assessments and safety system validations.
• Work inconjunction with other machine safety personal located in other offices. Learnthe machine safety business and grow the group in the Northeast.
• Assists in improving thequality and efficiently of the safety group.
• Uses general understanding of automation equipment including PLCs, OperatorInterface Systems, or Instrumentation. Applies knowledge of AC / DC fundamentalsto produce electrical circuit design in accordance with NEC and UL508A whenapplicable.
