The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Residential / Multi-family Insulation Estimating and Sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Cost Estimation : Calculate and prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs using blueprints and completed take-offs manually.
Bid Preparation : Prepare and submit comprehensive and competitive bids, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
Value Engineering : Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and correspondence for future reference and analysis.
Sales :
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities, up-sell to existing customers
- Manage leads promptly
- Create strong business relationships with retrofit Homeowners and Builders / Contractors
- Recommend the most suitable solution according to the customer's requirements
- Base salary plus commissions
Requirements :
- 3 years experience in insulation industry estimating and sales
- Proficiency in construction estimating
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Self-starter and proactive in increasing sales revenue
- Computer software proficiency - MS Suite
- Results-driven
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- A valid driver's license
