Project Manager

Job Summary :

The Project Manager role in Austin, TX, is a 12-month contract position responsible for managing multiple projects across large organizations. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, managing risks and issues, and ensuring timely resolution of project barriers. The role requires strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

• Managing project plans and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans.
• Ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.
• Mapping business processes and identifying process improvements.
• Planning and facilitating meetings and group problem-solving.
• Developing statements of work, project charters, design documentation, test plans, risk assessments, project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates and projections.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders.
• Summarizing and escalating issues appropriately.
• Developing and presenting weekly status updates (written and verbal).
• Conducting regular project team status meetings.
• Compiling and distributing project information, project status reports, and budget information.
• Developing written materials, including briefing documents, administrative reports, and presentations.
