Lead Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines on GCP and Snowflake

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver data solutions that meet business objectives

Optimize and enhance the performance and reliability of existing data pipelines

Required Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent related work experience

5+ years of experience in designing and building data pipelines on cloud platforms, preferably GCP and Snowflake

Expertise in modern data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake

Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and integration tasks

Experience in designing and optimizing ETL / ELT pipelines using dbt
