Overview : The Project Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and project support, including policies and reporting procedures, that ensures efficient project performance and compliance with LDX internal operating procedures.
Note : This position is NOT a remote position and is based out of our Kennesaw, GA office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
- Partner with Project Managers for preparation of Monthly project reporting for both Customer and LDX Management from both a cost and schedule aspect.
- Interact and coordinate with project teams, contract personnel, Engineering, and other functional or support departments.
- Maintain and update the project Schedule, including solicitation of updates from internal and external project participants.
- Track and manage project tasks and submittals through the LDX project management software.
- Coordinate and track all project purchases against the Bill of Material from requisition through expediting of equipment and tracking of shipments to site.
- Set up, monitor and assist in maintenance of project data in the LDX project management system, including compliance with LDX processes and tracking progress of tasks and oversight of progress.
- Notify the Lead Project Manager of any financial or compliance anomalies found.
- Perform other project-related duties as requested by Project Manager to support a successful project completion.
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities : Excellent communication skills (oral, reading, writing, and listening); proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel; analytical mindset with ability to exercise sound independent judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions with financial implications to the Company; ability to prioritize and track a large number of tasks while meeting deadlines; detail-oriented with excellent organization and time-management skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.Bachelor's Degree or 4 years related experienceExperience with cloud-based construction management packagesFamiliarity with industrial construction and engineering terminology and concepts a plusTravel
