Project Coordinator Industrial Construction

Immediate We are seeking a Project Coordinator with strong experience in document control and project support within the industrial construction space. This role supports cross-functional project teams by managing project documentation, ensuring efficient information flow, and facilitating clear communication between vendors, clients, and internal departments. The ideal candidate brings initiative, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to adopt new technologies and processes as we continue to lead in innovative project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project documentation across design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and field teams.
- Utilize Procore (or similar project / document control systems) to track and maintain vendor submittals, purchase orders, delivery documents, invoicing, and turnovers.
- Work collaboratively with document control and engineering staff to route drawings and support vendor bid packages.
- Create and maintain standardized document folder structures within Procore and ensure accessibility for project stakeholders.
- Maintain and update project Procurement Status Reports using MS Excel for daily / weekly team reviews.
- Expedite vendor workflowsmonitoring submittals, documentation, and delivery timelines to ensure adherence to contractual requirements.
- Support document archival / retention procedures and assist in continuous improvement of digital project controls processes.
- Partner with jobsite personnel to ensure accurate routing of field documentation (O&M manuals, delivery paperwork, as-built drawings, etc.).
- Prepare weekly expediting reports and monthly status scorecards; participate in Procurement Meetings.
- Conduct drawing audits and prepare overdue submittal reports for priority focus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5 years of Project / Document Controls experience.Procore or similar construction document management system experience required.Background in industrial construction strongly preferred (steam & power, pulp & paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, or process environments).Understanding of supply chain / vendor management practices.Prior experience with expediting deliverables and schedules.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work with diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.You'll be part of a team working on major process and power-related facilities, supporting projects across steam & power generation, pulp & paper, chemical processing, and related industrial sectors.
