Electronic Technician

Location : Fremont, CA

Rate : $35 – $37 per hour

Schedule : Full-Time, M-F, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Reports To : Electronics Supervisor / Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally qualified Electronics Technician to provide critical support in our manufacturing and repair division. This contract-to-hire opportunity demands a specialist with a deep technical foundation in electronic diagnostics and the proven capacity to operate independently with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate drives quality outcomes through meticulous attention to detail and hands-on expertise.

Core Responsibilities & Work Progression

• Advanced Board Repair : Diagnose and repair complex electronic units and printed circuit boards (PCBs) at the component level.
• Quality Assurance (QC) : Execute rigorous quality inspections and testing on all repaired or newly assembled units to confirm strict adherence to engineering and safety standards.
• Technical Assembly : Perform meticulous cable assembly tasks and gradually transition to diagnosing and working on more intricate electronic systems over time.
• Inbound Service : Efficiently troubleshoot, test, and repair incoming customer-returned boards (Repair and Test / QC).
• Operational Integrity : Maintain a highly organized, safe, and clean workspace, and collaborate effectively with the engineering team to meet production targets.

Essential Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Preferred

Prior practical experience with multi-pin conductor cable assembly is highly desirable. An Associate's Degree in Electronics or a closely related technical field is a strong plus.
