Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess overall health status.
- Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- CPR certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
