Salary :
We are currently hiring for a professional with the following credentials :
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN )
- Psychiatric ARNP
- Graduated from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs or its successor organization.
Must have :
- Bilingual : Preferred but not required (Haitian Creole, Spanish, or Portuguese)
- Experience working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school with a master’s or doctoral degree in psychiatric nursing.
- Hold a national advanced practice certification as a psychiatric mental health advanced practice nurse.
- 2 years of post-master’s clinical experience under the supervision of a physician.
- Licensed in the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
- Skills in psychiatric assessment, evaluation, medication management, treatment planning and medical / psych intervention, Required
- Staying compliant on all trainings, Required
- Clear Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprint Screening and Drug Test, Required
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with MAHCS staff as clinical inquiries occur
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management and consultations, stabilization, discharge planning, and continued involuntary placement hearings
- Properly documenting services in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, including orders, labs, order authentication and e-prescribing
- Addressing all client / family concerns in a professional and compassionate way
