Advanced Practitioner

Casual Weekend Coverage – Walkin Clinic

Scheurer is seeking a casual Advanced Practitioner (NP / PA) to work at our Scheurer Primary Care-Bad Axe location.

The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for :

• Examining and treating patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
• Ensures proper illness diagnosis and injury care is administered, as well as disease prevention, education, and recovery.
• Prescribes medications to patients as indicated.
• Working with the supervising practitioner and clinic staff
• Coordinates the care of patients and facilitates efficient and effective movement through the health care system.
• Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
