Automation Technician II / III (2nd and 3rd shifts available)

Description

As a Automation Technician II or III , this position is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and controls aspects of production machinery. Work will be done in compliance with current regulatory guidelines, national, state and local laws, company policies and safety requirements. These activities can include but not be limited to : machine rebuilding, machine electrical troubleshooting & repair, mechanical troubleshooting and repair; preventative / predictive maintenance; control system troubleshooting, maintenance and general fabrication. We have two openings, one on 2nd shift (M-F, 2pm-10pm) and one on 3rd shift (Sun-Thurs, 10pm-6am).

Job duties :

• Answer production line calls to adjust or repair machines in a timely manner.
• Performs machine rebuilding, repair and troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and may move equipment.
• Automated equipment programming, adjusting and troubleshooting.
• Completes general work orders and interfaces with other technicians across all shifts in a team environment.
• Continuously looks for and helps to implement improvements to the process, productivity, quality and reduce costs.
• Performs special projects and other related duties specific to the department as assigned.
