Description

The Warehouse Clerk will assist and support the warehouse department with daily administrative activities related to branch operation.

Responsibilities :

• Process billing runs including labeling and including packing lists for cross docking if required
• Routing of freight orders, including bills of laden preparation and labeling for common carrier shipments
• Sort freight bills by category, run driver manifests, set delivery appointments.
• Interact with purchasing, customer service staff as required
• Assign orders to warehouse selectors and monitor load progression.
• Coordinate shipping dock. Prepare and assign loads to loaders.
• Maintain spreadsheets for customer pick ups and OS&D's
• Package and process UPS orders
• Maintain and organize sample items inventory.
• Analyze multiple reports for Supervisor.
• Assist Shipping Supervisor in maintaining daily workflow of Shipping Department.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High School / GED education required
• Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with speed and accuracy under limited supervision
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse / distribution environment is preferred
• AS400 / iSeries experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task projects
• Ability to answer a heavy volume of phone calls from both internal and external customers
• Must be detail-orientated problem solver
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership skills
