2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler
This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. This role plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
Responsibilities
Support all activities related to inbound shipments, including unloading deliveries from trailers to the dock using a hand truck and / or forklift, handling heavy equipment unloads, segregating inbound material into direct and indirect categories, and staging material within the facility in support of all external teams.
Support the Production Control team with material moves in support of quality inspection, put away actions, and material issues in support of all production teams.
Provide assistance to employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments that are processed through the appropriate Shipment Request form.
Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.
Essential Skills
Forklift operation
ERP or WMS system familiarity
Material handling and inventory control experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting warehouse and production functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or related industries.
Familiarity with spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other systems for work instructions creation.
Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
