Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides business management support to the Operations team such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contract development, and invoice payments;
- Tracks and monitors budget allocations and runs expenditure reports;
- Tracks and manages change orders aligned with board policy and vendor contracts as needed;
- Tracks account numbers on invoices, requisitions, purchase orders and billings;
- Supports grant management needs by providing expenditure reports or other business office needs of the granting agency;
- Assists vendors with system registration, and payable inquiries;
- Assists in charter school transformation and school move processes when needed, as well as turnover of new buildings to charter school lessees;
- Supports real estate and property transactions such as short term leases of unoccupied property, managing appraisal process and coordination with District's real estate vendor or other property development agencies as needed; and
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in business, Finance or Accounting, or relevant discipline or a minimum of 3 years of experience related to business management, operations planning, or property management.Experience overseeing K-12 school operations or business management services strongly preferred.Working knowledge of budgets and familiarity with financial software such as Munis;Must have proficiency using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access (or other equivalent database experience).Excellent written and oral communications;Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task;Excellent project management and organizational skills;Excellent conflict resolution and consensus building skills.This position does not have direct reports.$50,400 - $78,735 a year
