Job Description
A defense manufacture is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for enterprise users. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end-user assistance across desktops, laptops, and networked devices in a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide IT infrastructure field support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Support imaging, deployment, and hardware lifecycle management processes.
- Troubleshoot LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP connectivity issues.
- Deliver "smart hands" support for networking and peripheral hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
- Conduct repeat call analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve escalated incidents quickly.
Qualifications :
2-4 years of experience in IT field support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure services.Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.Familiarity with network fundamentals and hardware diagnostics.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.Associate Degree in Electronics or related field preferred.VantageClear Certification (or equivalent security credential) required.
