Pay rate : $17.81 / hour plus mileage reimbursement

This position covers the Whittier, Pico Rivera, Montebello, and East LA areas

Caregiver / Direct Support Professional Would you like to make a positive difference in the lives of others? Join our mission. Based in community settings, within a program, and working closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans, DSPs provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.

• Provide one-on-one positive and friendly companionship while doing outings in the community - activities include things like going out to eat, museums, movies, run errands, going to local parks, and other recreational activities the individual is interested in
• Transportation and support out in the community : outings / field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
• Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from community participation, social skills, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and supporting vocational responsibilities
• Assist individuals we serve to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
