Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Collector to join our team. The Debt Collector will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts owed to the company. This role requires excellent communication skills, a firm yet compassionate approach, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Key responsibilities include :

• Contacting debtors via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts.
• Negotiating payment plans and settlements with debtors.
• Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions with debtors.
• Conducting thorough investigations to locate debtors and determine their ability to pay.
• Monitoring and tracking accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action.
• Following up on payment arrangements and ensuring timely payments.
• Complying with all state and federal regulations related to debt collection.
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with debtors.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as legal and accounting, to resolve complex cases.
• Any other duties required of the position.
