Lecturer of Biology

Overview

Lecturer of Biology position at Kennesaw State University. This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty role in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology with a preferred start date of August 2025.

Location : Kennesaw, Georgia. This is a nine-month contracted role based in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teach primarily a first-semester freshman course, Culture and Success in Science and Mathematics.
• Assist with undergraduate introductory biology lecture and lab courses focusing on cellular biology and genetics.
• Other teaching responsibilities as needed by the department.
• Provide learning opportunities and practices that nurture growth and respect for all voices of our extensive student population.
• Engage in professional service within the Department, the College of Science and Mathematics, the University and beyond.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
