Overview Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The HVAC Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC controls systems. This includes programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), building automation system (BAS), and other related controls. The role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls technology, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize these systems for maximum efficiency and performance. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS) or in a similar role. Prior hospital HVAC maintenance experience preferred. Education/Licensure/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, electronics, or a related field preferred. Certification in HVAC controls or BAS is preferred. EPA section 608 certification is a plus. Pay Scale Information USD $49,504.00 - USD $85,394.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
