International Mechanical Component Sourcing Manager

The largest footwear retailer is hiring for an International Mechanical Component Sourcing Manager to join their team. They are responsible for developing, qualifying, and scaling a global supply base for mechanical components used in next-generation consumer robotics, drones, and intelligent home devices. The role involves handling CAD models and 2D drawings, identifying four to five suitable vendors, onboarding them through non-disclosure and quality agreements, and managing the request for quotation (RFQ) process. They will also be responsible for negotiating market-aligned pricing, ensuring the selection of high-quality suppliers who are independently capable of meeting requirements.

Skills and Requirements :

• Ability to review CAD Model and / or 2D drawings to conduct global supplier scouting and develop sourcing strategies
• Ability to create RFQs, perform quote analysis, and lead negotiation processes
• Strong vendor relationships already in place
• Experience building supply base from the ground up
• Experience with cost modeling
