Total compensation for the Electrical Senior Project Manager in Charlotte, NC is between $110,000 - $130,000 ge

Electrical Senior Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage up to $30 million-dollar electrical construction projects or multiple large projects simultaneously.
- Decision-making responsibility concerning project cost, time and performance.
- Project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and job closure
- Create monthly project status detail and percent-of-completion reports.
- Proficient in change order estimates. Identifying scope and scope gaps. Coordinating vendor and sub quotes and scopes. Negotiating change orders with customers
- Decision making responsibility concerning project cost, time and performance.
- Maintaining relationships with contractors, vendors and in-house operations
- Proficient in scheduling of our work and integration with the GC’s schedule. Understanding and experience with pull planning.
Ability to create, resource load, and analyze critical path schedules.
Understanding work breakdown structures. Work closely with Project Superintendent to ensure deadlines are met, constraint logs are issued to the GC, and manpower is coherent with budgets.
Supporting an injury free work environment and safety culture
Full responsibility of the financials for the Project(s) assigned to them. Excellent understanding of costs, revenue, billings, projections, margin, gains, fades, commitments, AR, AP, etc.
Electrical Senior Project Manager Qualifications
- 10-15 years’ experience managing multiple electrical construction of large commercial projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage up to $15M in project revenue per year. Ability to effectively delegate. Hold effective meetings. Foster positive relationships with employees and clients.

- Must have proven experience managing 100k+ man-hour projects.
- Prior experience with design / build, preferred
- Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods
- Must be comfortable with a system that has documented processes and procedures for all tasks. Use of technology platforms for financials, project management, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts
- Experienced in writing detailed scope proposals
- Comfortable with establishing and maintaining customer relations. Understanding the balance between protecting our Company and maintaining relationships with clients
- Strong computer skills Excel, Word, estimating software (Accubid a plus)
- Excellent people, communication and negotiating skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- Journeyman License or Degree
