Job description

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and professional with a passion for supporting a legal team? Staffmark is hiring a Legal Assistant to join a busy, high-volume legal practice in Minneapolis. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment while providing essential administrative support.

Pay : $20 / hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday | 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

  • Perform general administrative tasks : scanning, copying, filing, and document handling
  • Schedule client-attorney meetings via phone and email
  • Communicate professionally with clients and staff
  • Transcribe and input legal documents with accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
  • Provide occasional reception desk coverage
  • Support attorneys, paralegals, and office staff as needed

Qualifications :

  • Prior office or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
