We have partnered with a reputable, well-established law firm in the South Metro looking to add a Paralegal to their Criminal Prosecution practice group.

As a Paralegal, you’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys as they handle municipal criminal cases. This position offers the chance to work on impactful cases that directly benefit local communities.  This is an ideal position for those with at least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal and an interest in criminal prosecution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing evidence and managing discovery.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
• Maintain case files and track deadlines to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate and communicate with law enforcement, clients, and court personnel.
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court dates for attorneys.
• Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Experience :  At least 1 year in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role, with exposure to criminal law  preferred.
• Education :  Associate’s degree or paralegal certification required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Skills :  Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, familiarity with legal research tools and office software.
