The selected candidate will serve as Team Member and Team Leader for Radio Communications Systems (RCS) testing and repairs aboard US Navy and US Coast Guard ships. Must have an in-depth knowledge of US Navy communications protocols, applications, and equipment / system set-up and troubleshooting procedures. Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team conducting testing of equipment / systems and crew proficiency in operation of shipboard communications systems. \n

\n This position is located in Mayport FL. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Mayport or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least 10 years of related experience
US Navy ET with shipboard / submarine experience
US Navy Exterior Communications Subsystems Class "A" School
US Navy Tactical Communications Pipeline Class "C" School
Ability to set-up and operate complex US Navy communications systems
Ability to effectively train and interact with shipboard personnel
Ability to lead a watch team as a Satellite Communications Supervisor
AN / URT-23 Series HF transmitter Technician
AN / URC-131 HF Radio Groupe Technician
AN / WSC-3(V) UHF LOS / SATCOM Technician
US Coast Guard National Security Cutter (WMSL) experience
US Navy Qualified Electronic Surveillance Measure Operator
Qualified AN / BLQ-10 Submarine Electronic Warfare Support System Operator
Qualified AN / WLR-8 Electronic Surveillance Measures System Operator
Ability to travel (up to 25%)
Ability to work in an industrial environment, wear all required PPE, and work at heights
Advanced experience with MS Office tools
Ability to conduct briefings and read and interpret ship's drawings
Understanding of ship C5ISR systems and their installation and testing
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Valid US passport
Experience as a technical instructor
Shipboard Communications equipment maintenance experience
Shipboard Electronic Warfare Systems experience
CG, DDG or LCS ship class experience
Experience leading Radio Communications Systems testing for CSITE, CSSQT, CSAT, Aegis Modernization, Aegis Light-off
Experience leading Radio Communications Systems testing for USCG WMSL class
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $70735 - $120250
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
