Role : Remote Recruitment Search Consultant (South Africa)
Mission of the Role :
Deliver exceptional research, sourcing, and candidate engagement for mid-to-senior SaaS and FinTech commercial roles (Sales, Account Executive, GTM, Product).
This is a sales-driven delivery role focused on quality, pace, and commercial impact, not process administration.
Key Points :
1. This is a commercial role, not administrative recruitment. We need consultants who operate like salespeople persuasive, confident, and delivery-driven.
2. SaaS and FinTech context is critical. Candidates should understand technology sales roles, SaaS revenue models, and financial services buyers.
3. Quality and pace must co-exist. Expectation : deliver a high-fit shortlist of 510 candidates within days, not generic profiles.
4. Communication differentiates performance. They must sound credible to senior SaaS sales talent articulate, structured, and persuasive.
5. Evidence of commercial outcomes matters. Look for achievements : placements, billings, targets, or measurable delivery impact.
6. Strong remote accountability. They must manage time, pipeline, and reporting autonomously.
The Ideal Candidate :
58 years' recruitment experience (agency or in-house) with exposure to technology, SaaS, or FinTech markets.
Has managed end-to-end delivery or headhunting for commercial (sales / BD / GTM) roles.
Market Familiarity :
Understands how SaaS and FinTech companies operate.
Recognises terms like ARR, TCV, sales cycles, buyer personas, and can spot relevant experience quickly.
Sales Mindset :
Confident influencing, persuading, and building rapport with clients and candidates.
Commercial Acumen :
Quickly assesses value, role seniority, and salary alignment. Comfortable discussing performance metrics and client expectations.
Communication :
Clear, polished, and confident communicator (written and spoken). Able to engage senior passive candidates credibly via phone, LinkedIn, and email.
Research & Sourcing :
Skilled in Boolean search and market mapping.
Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter, modern ATS, and AI-enabled sourcing tools.
Delivery Pace :
Operates with urgency, focus, and accountability. Can produce high-quality shortlists at speed.
Independence :
Works effectively in a remote, autonomous environment.
Delivers high-value tasks on time and keeps stakeholders updated.
Technology Fluency :
Competent with ATS / CRM systems and productivity tools (HubSpot, Notion, Loop, or similar).
