Cloud Information Security Engineer - Data Retention & Protection - Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data classifiers and overseeing various engineering initiatives, including software administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage Data Classifiers : Develop, implement, and maintain data classifiers in Microsoft Purview (and possibly other environments forthcoming) to ensure data security and compliance.
• Software Administration : Oversee the administration of security software and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively protecting our systems.
• Security Engineering Initiatives : Lead and participate in various security engineering projects to enhance our security posture.
• Risk Assessment : Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Compliance and Standards : Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and develop policies and procedures to support these requirements.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization\'s operations.
