Profee IR Coding Consultant

A company is looking for a Provider Practice Coding Consultant (IR) to provide consulting services in medical coding and support healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records and assign accurate codes to ensure compliance with client needs

Conduct data quality reviews to assess adherence to coding and documentation guidelines

Identify documentation improvement opportunities and uphold compliance standards

Required Qualifications

1+ year of coding experience

AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)

Experience with computerized encoding and abstracting software

Ability to pass annual HIPAA examination and other required testing

Familiarity with interventional radiology coding, including CPTs and NCCI edits
