RMF Analyst

The Opportunity :

Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to military organizations.

In all of this "cyber noise," how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you-an information security risk spe cia list who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As an information security risk spe cia list on our team, you'll use your experience to work with the Department of Defense (DoD) to discover their cyber risks, understand policies , and develop a mitigation plan.

You'll review te chn ical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs and engineers to assess the entire threat landscape.

Then you'll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones.

You'll manage the application of analytical risk management principles that enable organizations to achieve mission assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, resp ond ing to, and recovering from emergencies.

You'll apply advanced consulting skills or extensive te chn ical expertise, including full industry knowledge. You'll develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

You Have :

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD, Federal, or Civil Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) , Assessment and Authorization ( A & A ) , or Authority to Operate ( ATO ) processes
  • 4+ years of experience with NIST SP 800 series policy and implementation guidance
  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service ( eMASS )
  • Experience with systems integration, web te chn ologies, web applications, sof tware systems, networks, and security
  • Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and decomposition
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH Certification

Nice If You Have :

  • Experience c ond ucting presentations, including public speaking, client briefings, or training
  • Experience with programming languages and sof tware development, including Python, C++, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Experience with STIGs, Nessus, and vulnerability or application scanners for IA use
  • Knowledge of the systems development life cycle ( SDLC ) , Agile processes, quality assurance, and sof tware functional testing
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
