HR Business Partner

We are looking for an agile and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) ready to make a significant impact in a successful SaaS environment. We're seeking a proactive and independent HRBP to support our Global Revenue and Marketing. Reporting to the VP, Talent Management. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative global HRBP team, driving people strategies that fuel our innovation and growth. This role is hybrid, and will be required to be in office 2-3 days per week.

As a trusted advisor, you'll independently partner with our dynamic Global Revenue and Marketing leaders, translating business objectives into impactful people strategies. You'll leverage your sharp analytical skills and strategic foresight to anticipate challenges, proactively identifying and implementing HR solutions that drive organizational effectiveness and talent growth. This isn't just about process execution; it's about thoughtful consultation, influencing change, and skillfully navigating the pace required sometimes quickly adapting to urgent needs, and other times slowing down to ensure meticulous execution of critical programs like performance management and compensation planning. You'll collaborate seamlessly with central HR functions and our global HRBP team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What You'll Do :

  • Serve as a credible and independent strategic HR partner, proactively advising and influencing Bazaarvoice leaders on talent, organizational design and change management.
  • You'll be a trusted point of contact, adept at identifying underlying issues and providing well-reasoned solutions, escalating when necessary.
  • Independently manage and resolve complex employee relations matters with empathy, fairness, and a deep understanding of local labor laws. You'll ensure timely, compliant, and discreet handling of sensitive situations, proactively fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Go beyond reporting to proactively analyze people data (e.g., turnover, headcount, engagement), identify trends, and translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders and HRBPs. Your ability to 'tell the story' with data will be crucial.
  • You'll expertly leverage Workday and other HR systems to extract and interpret key HR insights and trends.
  • Play a key role in the end-to-end creation and execution of people programs, from talent management and employee engagement to leadership development whilst ensuring seamless collaboration with regional HRBPs and Centers of Excellence (COEs). Your proactive approach will ensure successful adoption and impact.
  • Proactively support and co-lead organizational design initiatives, ensuring structures align with strategic business priorities and foster agility. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing talent strategies focused on succession planning, workforce development, and retention within a dynamic environment.

What You'll Bring :

  • Impact-focused Experience : 5 - 7+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment, demonstrating significant impact as a strategic partner to global teams.
  • Proactiveness and Independence : Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, anticipate business needs, and proactively develop and implement solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Pacing & Execution : Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization, knowing when to move quickly and when to meticulously execute complex programs and processes.
  • Influence & Collaboration : Exceptional ability to influence and build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership, and across diverse global teams.
  • Storytelling & Business Acumen : Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong business acumen, enabling you to translate complex HR concepts and data into compelling, actionable narratives that resonate with leaders.
  • Iterative Approach : An iterative mindset with a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and seamlessly move from strategic design to hands-on development and change management, always focused on driving measurable business outcomes.
  • $120,000 - $150,000 a year

    At Bazaarvoice, we carefully consider multiple factors when determining compensation. Since we believe the transparency and integrity builds trust, we want to share that we expect the base salary for this position to be in the range listed above and is based on Bazaarvoice's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education / training, and skill level. While this is a good faith estimate of the expected base pay range, Bazaarvoice reserves the right to pay outside this range if these assumptions and understandings are modified as we progress through the interview process.
