Job Description

As a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing commissioning, operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers in a variety of locations. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies but will primarily specialize in dissolved air flotation and clarification. To be successful in this profession, you’ll need to have excellent mechanical, mathematical, and process know how and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will...

• Safely and successfully provide technical direction and inspections for rebuild projects and extended scope projects, including chemical dosing, clarification and dissolved air flotation, primarily in North America
• Verify that installation is as per Veolia's drawings
• Commission equipment: this includes mixers, valves, air compressors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Asist clients with optimizing clarifiers and DAFs
• Complete detailed controls testing to ensure the system is functioning as per design
• Assist client with initial plant operation, as well as train client operators on plant operation
• Meet with the client and Veolia to communicate schedule and address issues as necessary
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Install/replace and/or supervise the replacement of proposed equipment
• Install, monitor, maintain and calibrate chemical injection systems
• Carry out process, mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed

Qualifications

This is a service role and you’ll bring your positive attitude to work with you every day because making other people happy makes you happy. To be successful in this role you should have the following:

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Previous water and/or wastewater treatment experience
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geography
• Ability to gain and maintain access to customer sites as assigned
• Valid driver’s license
