Position Summary :
As the Director of Sales at Strategic Factory, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and driving measurable revenue growth. You are both a sales leader and business operator, a change agent who builds accountability, develops excellence through processes, and leads through data-driven decision making.
Your primary focus will be to coach, lead, and hold the sales organization accountable for consistent performance, while implementing scalable systems and processes that enable profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong business acumen, exceptional financial discipline, and a demonstrated ability to drive change through metrics, accountability, and execution.
This is an in-the-trenches leadership role requiring persistence, structure, and high standards. Success will be measured by improvements in sales behaviors, growth in revenue, and measurable impact on team performance and profitability.
Responsibilities :
Business Leadership & Financial Accountability
- Serve as a key business leader responsible for revenue growth, profitability, and financial performance across the sales portfolio.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and performance targets tied to company-wide objectives.
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to align sales goals with organizational strategy and financial outcomes.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of sales results, identifying gaps and implementing corrective action plans.
Sales Management & Execution
Lead the daily operations and effectiveness of the sales organization, including direct and indirect reports across Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Project Management, and Customer Relations Center (CRC) teams.Develop and enforce a consistent operating rhythm and accountability structure for all individual contributors.Implement and monitor utilization of the CRM and related systems to ensure visibility, accuracy, and control over pipeline activity and performance metrics.Establish and maintain auditing standards, checkpoints, and performance dashboards to ensure continuous monitoring and improvement.Occasional evening and weekend hours required to attend networking events and other company / client functionsOther duties as assignedCoaching, Development & Process Optimization
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and sales acumen training to team members.Conduct regular performance reviews focused on activity metrics, conversion rates, and profitability outcomes.Analyze data, observe sales behaviors, and drive process improvements that yield higher productivity and customer satisfaction.Facilitate regular sales team meetings focused on accountability, execution, and alignment to goals.Strategic Planning & Execution
After the first 180 days, collaborate with the ELT to develop, recommend, and implement sales department policies, programs, and strategic initiatives.Build and execute long-term sales strategies that drive sustainable growth and strengthen Strategic Factory's market position.Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key accounts and partners, ensuring exceptional client experience and retention.Lead change initiatives within the sales organization to improve efficiency, consistency, and performance culture.Culture & Customer Commitment
Model and enforce company culture and values across the sales organization.Ensure all customer-facing team members deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.Participate in networking events and company / client functions as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends.Performance Metrics :

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred.Proven success leading a high-performing sales team in a CRM-driven environment.Strong business and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability.Demonstrated experience in change management, sales process development, and performance improvement techniques.Proven ability to manage up and across the organization to align strategies and drive consistent sales execution.Relentless focus on accountability, performance, and results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to executive leadership and clients.Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong customer service orientation and ability to foster productive, cross-functional relationships.Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business impact and revenue growth through leadership, process, and execution excellence.Why Work for Strategic Factory?
