Another Source's client, California State University Chancellor's Office, is recruiting a Senior IT Auditor to join their team in Long Beach, CA. This is primarily a hybrid role, working remotely 2 days each week.

About the role :

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to conduct IT related audits at the system office and each of the 23 campuses.

The anticipated salary for this position is : $10,834 per month based on experience.

How you can expect to spend your time :

• Conducting information technology and integrated audits to assess the adequacy of internal controls related to the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data
• Identifying areas of risk within IT and advising about risk control considerations
• Identifying opportunities for increasing operational efficiencies and strengthening business process controls
• Preparing adequate documentation supporting all audit work performed to support the preparation of a written report to management
• Preparation of comprehensive, well-written audit reports summarizing the review results.
• The senior IT auditor occasionally assists in audit program development and periodically supervises the work of others, including instructing new staff.
