Connexus Energy is seeking a Distribution System Engineer. This role will work collaboratively to help maintain the Connexus Energy substations and distribution system, by developing engineering plans, conducting operational studies, and implementing distribution system modifications to ensure a safe, reliable, and cost-effective design and operation.

The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $86,700 and $113,820 annually. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 8% of annual earnings based on company performance.

Location :

Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office as duties require. While this position is designated as a hybrid role, based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN.

In this position you will :

• Perform distribution engineering and define projects to ensure system capacity, power factor, and voltage is adequate.
• Participate in development of construction work plans and long-range studies in assessing distribution system needs and recommending system improvements.
• Analyze and consider various alternatives, considering safety, reliability, and cost, among other factors, and recommend solutions using sound engineering judgment.
• Provide conceptual layout for large commercial, industrial and residential developments to ensure the progression of such developments is constructed in an efficient manner.
• Perform accurate modeling of the Connexus Distribution System to enable other analyses to be performed.Update the model and build future projects
