Sous Chef

Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team at the prestigious Delta Sky Club at JFK and Delta Sky Club LGA Airport.  Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. What You'll Do

• be responsible for purchasing, menu / recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking.
• supervision of large-scale batch cooking.
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented.
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and / or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Minimum Requirements :

Education :  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Management Experience :  Minimum of 1 year
